Turtelino values the time, effort, and expertise of its teachers. This policy explains how teacher payments are processed, how payout eligibility is determined, and how teachers can qualify for faster payment schedules.
The purpose of this policy is to balance fast and fair payments for teachers, protection for students and parents, prevention of fraudulent disputes, and long-term trust within the Turtelino community.
Turtelino currently recognizes two categories of teaching partners:
A teacher who has recently joined the platform or has not yet reached the requirements for Verified Teacher status.
A teacher who has demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a consistent record of successful lesson delivery. Verified Teachers may qualify for accelerated payment schedules and additional platform benefits.
For all Standard Teachers:
This system protects both students and teachers while ensuring legitimate concerns can be reviewed fairly.
Teachers who consistently provide high-quality lessons and maintain a strong professional record may qualify for Verified Teacher status. The program rewards teachers who demonstrate reliability and build trust within the platform.
A teacher may become eligible for Verified Teacher status after meeting one or more platform milestones, such as:
Meeting a milestone does not automatically guarantee promotion. Turtelino may review overall account performance before granting Verified Teacher status.
Verified Teachers may qualify for faster payment processing. Depending on platform operations and payment provider limitations, payouts may be processed within a few hours after lesson completion, at the end of the same business day, or on the same day as lesson completion.
The exact payout schedule may vary by country, banking system, payment provider, and account standing. A copy of payment confirmation will be sent to the receiver directly after payment is made.
Verified Teacher status is based on continued professional conduct. Status may be reviewed if repeated lesson cancellations occur, multiple justified disputes are filed, attendance standards decline, or platform rules are violated. Turtelino reserves the right to return a teacher to Standard Teacher status if necessary.
Partner Teachers are teachers who operate independently while offering lessons through the Turtelino platform. Partner Teachers remain responsible for delivering lessons professionally, maintaining accurate schedules, providing agreed educational services, and following platform policies and applicable laws.
Partner Teachers may also qualify for Verified Teacher status under the same standards as other teachers.
In rare situations, payment may be temporarily held while a dispute is reviewed — for example, teacher absence, serious technical failures, wrong lesson delivery, or professional conduct concerns. When a dispute is opened, Turtelino may request information from both parties before making a final decision. The goal of every review is to ensure fairness to both the teacher and the student.
Turtelino believes teachers should be paid promptly for work successfully performed. The platform's review periods and verification system are designed not to delay legitimate earnings, but to protect the integrity of the learning environment for all participants.
Teachers who consistently provide excellent lessons will benefit from faster payments, increased trust, and greater opportunities within the Turtelino community.
